Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our functional medicine team. You'll work alongside Dr. Ruth Johnson and our clinical staff to deliver comprehensive, root-cause focused care to our membership patients. This role offers the rare opportunity to practice medicine with adequate time—60-90 minute consultations are the norm here.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations (60-90 minutes)
- Develop and manage personalized treatment protocols
- Order, interpret, and explain advanced diagnostic testing
- Prescribe and manage hormone optimization therapies
- Administer and oversee IV therapy treatments
- Collaborate with Dr. Johnson on complex cases
- Educate patients on functional medicine approaches
- Maintain detailed documentation in our EHR system
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Current New York State NP license (or eligible)
- Family, Adult, or Women's Health certification preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with EHR systems
- Excellent patient communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in functional medicine, integrative health, or longevity medicine
- Hormone optimization/HRT experience
- IV therapy certification
- IFM or A4M training
Clinical Medical Assistant
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Clinical Medical Assistant to support our providers and ensure patients have an exceptional experience at every visit. You'll be integral to our clinical operations—from preparing patients for consultations to assisting with procedures and managing lab coordination.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure clinical supplies are stocked
- Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and document chief complaints
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Set up and assist with IV therapy treatments
- Coordinate lab orders and follow up on results
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR system
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Support patient education and follow-up communication
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- 2+ years clinical experience in medical office setting
- Phlebotomy certification and proficiency
- Experience with EHR systems
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Warm, professional patient demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in functional medicine, integrative health, or aesthetics
- IV therapy experience or willingness to train
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Front Desk Coordinator / Patient Concierge
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for the entire Genesis Health experience. We're seeking a warm, organized professional who can deliver white-glove service while managing the operational flow of our front office. This is more than a receptionist role—you'll be a true patient concierge.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
- Manage scheduling for all providers and treatment rooms
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and portal
- Process payments and manage membership billing
- Coordinate new patient onboarding and intake forms
- Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
- Support marketing initiatives and patient communications
- Create a seamless, premium experience at every touchpoint
Qualifications
- 2+ years front desk or patient services experience
- Experience in medical office, hospitality, or luxury retail
- Proficiency with scheduling software and EHR systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Genuine passion for helping people
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with membership or concierge service models
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho, ActiveCampaign)
